Homework Policy

As the school year begins, all 4^th grade teachers would like you to be aware of our homework expectations.  It is our expectation that all homework is turned in the day it is due.   If a student has incomplete or missing homework the day it is due, it will be sent home with a Missing Homework Slip.  It will then be the student's responsibility to take the work home, complete it, have a parent sign the slip, and return the completed homework the following day.  If the homework is not completed or returned the next day, you will receive a phone call from your child informing you of the missing homework and their plan to get the work completed and returned the next day.  We feel this will help the students with organization and responsibility, which will be vital this year and in the years to come.  Please provide us with a phone number you would like your child to contact you at if necessary.
